International lecturers at Karkonosze College in November

In November 2018 Karkonosze College hosted three distinguished lecturers from abroad.

On 19.11.2018 we had a pleasure to meet prof. Cynthia McDermott from  Antioch University Los Angeles, USA, who was invited by professor Anna Michońska-Stadnik. She conducted a lecture entitled „Children's rights, Janusz Korczak and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child“ which was very well received by students and lecturers. Professor Cynthia McDermott is a Fulbright Specialist who received a scholarship to do research in Poland at University of Wrocław in the field of education, learning strategies, children’s literature and American culture. Photos and short video news from the lecture in Polish language can be found here.

In the same week two lecturers of German language and culture from the Czech University of Technology in Liberec were guests of our College in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme: dr Helena Neumannova and dr Irena Vlckova. They held practical German classes with students of German Philology and presented their home institution where Karkonosze College students can do their Erasmus+ studies.
